This moldy oldie dates back to circa 1981. It was my first attempt at progressive bluegrass,  in the vein of New Grass Revival .

 Not having an actual fiddle for the solo, I resorted to a type of pathetic  humming technique as my substitute instrument. Yes, it sounds just like a pesky mosquito buzzing around.

This was inspired by Shelly Gokey Helinski. She had just started playing the fiddle (“violin” to you purists) which provided the impetus for the tune. She always inspired me…thanks Shell.
