My crazy “social consciousness” tune  recorded with Heather “P-Nut” McMahan in 1984.

Three major sources of inspiration for this song were gathered from:

1) the unfortunate death of Karen Carpenter due to anorexia nervosa in 1983

2) Cherry Boone’s public admission of her battle with anorexia circa 1983

3) a dear friend’s
horrific experience with anorexia/bulimia.

I sincerely pray that anyone suffering from anorexia and bulimia will seek good counseling and spiritual help. Things can and WILL change for the better if you take the brave first step and get help NOW!
